2005: A large dust devil developed in the city of Madera and damaged playground equipment at a park.
1981: Highest minimum temperature records were set each day in San Diego for six consecutive days, starting on 6.3 and ending on this day.
1950: It was 39° in Riverside and in Santa Ana, both the lowest temperatures on record for June.
1920: Yosemite Valley plunged to 14 degrees for a low temperature, coldest on record here in June.
