The hot weather expected over the next few days may contribute to an increase in IA activity

due to well-above normal temperatures, especially today and tomorrow but continuing for the

next 4 or 5 days. Fuels are showing signs of rapid drying as evidenced by the new large fires

that developed yesterday. Fuels below 7,000 feet which were previously moist have dried

and are approaching critical levels in many areas.
