The most recent size given that is now old news on the Pozo Incident is 350 acres with a rapid rate of spread from SRA (state responsibility area) into the Los Padres NF in the general area that last burned in the 1996 Highway 58 Fire.

The acreage Joann is giving applies to the El Monte Incident in San Diego County Unit of CalFire (MVU).

Pozo Incident (SLU) - This incident began SLO Co. (North County) in the area of Parkhill and Pozo Roads and is in the process of escaping .... now up to 250 acres and more resource orders are being filled including additional tankers for a total of six
El Monte Incident - This incident is down in San Diego Co. on El Cajon Mountain and is a structure threat and life hazard...rescues ongoing.....about 600 acres now.
