[californiadisasters] Admin Read: Subject Headers & Trimmage

Achtung Gruppe!

We need you all to remember a couple of things and cooperate with us regarding them so this group functions as smoothly as possibly.

First, in the case of any of you responding to a message in a conversation thread wherein you change the subject from what is written in the subject header we insist you remember to change said subject header to reflect the new subject of your message.

If such a change of subject has already happened prior to a post you are about to make but nobody else has changed the subject header then please do it yourself as a courtesy to the group.

Second, we ask that you all trim your trimmage. Trimmage is an expression I use to describe the parts of an email, particularly one that is an element of a conversation thread,  wherein lots of unnecessary content is included below the main message such as an unnecessary number prior posts in the conversation thread as well as Yahoo Groups signatures as well as personal email signatures, etc.

Please TRIM YOUR TRIMMAGE!
