09/11	0800	PATRIOT DAY AND NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE AND REMEMBRANCE, 2010 Today we remember those we lost on that dark September day, and we honor the courage and selflessness of our first responders, service members, and fellow citizens who served our Nation and its people in our hour of greatest need. Observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. eastern daylight time to honor the innocent victims who perished as a result of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
