RE: [californiadisasters] SQF/KRN (Kern) Canyon Fire

It’s THAT time of evening when the normal upslope day winds (heated valley air) get turned around.  It makes things a bit more difficult on the ground and takes a few hours to establish.

There is also a weather pulse coming in to make it more challenging (more wind, but cooler temps).

Please keep the reports coming in.

update the winds are constantly shifting ,, fire is now heading towards lake isabella due to wind shift.. friends can see flames from their vantage point..  ffs are staging at mtn mesa across from lake isabella.. winds are blowing in a circle .. first one way then another way .. Joann
