Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 12 fires for 1acre reported in the Daily Situation Report, (there may be a 24-hour delay in reporting on the SIT report).

There are 6 small fires being managed to achieve multiple objectives (ENF).
Prescribed burning is starting where prescriptions are met.

There are currently no large fires burning in the GACC.

Fuels are dry throughout the region.  1000 hour fuels are calculated at or below 20 percent except for the North Coast PSA.

Winds will be moderate from the SW over the next few days...ahead of another weaker disturbance which could bring some light showers to the far NW corner of the state late today. Otherwise high pressure builds in with gradual warming/drying later in the weekend and into next week. Surface winds will become NE/offshore early next week as well.

Very few resources are committed out of the GACC.
