Well with the porous ground I would thinkthe water is going into an aquifer but yeah, that doesn't benefit th e folks who need it right away.

There are other places that need the water, such as northern MT. They have the precip, but with the rocky porous ground, no means of storing it efficiently. Rick From: Allison Loukanis
