Homecoming tickets are on sale today during lunch in activities. Please remember that you must have your current VVHS ID to purchase your ticket. If you are bringing a guest from another school you will need to have the permission slip filled out and with you when you purchase a ticket. Tickets are $20. They will be on sale all next week. On Friday October 15th the tickets will be $25.00.
Please be aware that you may only bring one guest to the dance and that you are responsible for your guest.
- Today is Twin Day
- Wednesday is pink out day. Buy your Pink t-shirt from Ms. Stone for $10.00 at the bookroom window at lunch.
- Thursday is Decades Day: Seniors are the 80's, Juniors are the 70's, Sophomores are the 60's, Freshmen are the 50's and staff and faculty are the year you graduated from high school.
- Friday is dress-up day. We will be on a long assembly schedule for coronation.
- Saturday our football game is at 1:30 at Milne and the dance is at 8 in our gym.
All Musicians: Tomorrow, 13 Oct at 3:00pm, there will be a meeting for musicians interested in being part of the Orchestra for the all school musical THE KING AND I. Please make every effort to attend and be part of the first Pit Orchestra in our new Performing Arts Center. That meeting is Tomorrow, 13 Oct @ 3:00pm in room J 122. Wednesday October 13, 2010. PSAT Exam. All sophomores will take the PSAT exam the morning of October 13th. Any juniors who want to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program should register for the exam by bringing $13 to Mrs. Futey in room E224.

Attention girls: The 2011 track and field team will be having an informational meeting on Friday October 22, 2010. It will be in the lecture room at lunch. Come meet your new coach and get information about the season. See you there
Bowlers – practice October 12th at Lucky 66 Bowl. This is a very important practice as there will be a parent meeting at 5:30 immediately after practice. Again important bowling practice Oct 12th with a parent meeting to follow. Coaches Perry and Mark expect your attendance.
Letter jackets will be on sale October 13th. You must bring full payment (check or cash) plus your player for proper fitting 5:30 pm Wednesday the 13th. Jackets vary in price but start at about $290. This is sponsored by the football team. All students are welcome to come.

All 10th graders and the 11th graders who signed up to take the PSAT should bring a #2 pencil and a calculator to school on Wednesday and report directly to your testing location at 7:30. 11th graders who signed up will be testing in the lecture hall. 10th graders should ask their English teachers where to go for the test!

Athletics:
Open gym today for Girls Basketball is from 2:45 to 4pm. Next open gym will be Monday from 3 to 4:15pm. Due to Homecoming activities, Girls open gym has been canceled for Thursday and Friday.
Congratulations to the senior boys for performing a great and entertaining half time show at powderpuff last night! You guys were amazing. WE have a special award for best dressed: The person most likely to look good in a tu-tu is Stone Kennedy!
Congratulations to the Junior girls for winning the powderpuff game.
