This Page is a clearing house for information on SKYWARNTM Recognition Day. SKYWARNTM Recognition Day was developed in 1999 by the National Weather Service and the American Radio Relay League. It celebrates the contributions that volunteer SKYWARNTM radio operators make to the National Weather Service. During the day SKYWARNTM operators visit NWS offices and contact other radio operators across the world.

EVENT NEWS:

SRD is less than three weeks away and over 60 stations have registered so far. Based on previous years, we expect over 100 stations to participate. Keep checking back as more stations register.11/18/2010
