I will stick with Soouther California weather, sunny, partly cloudy and the occasional Santa Ana's. Plus our occasional "Rain" storm. I don't mind the brush fires and earthquakes either. I don't know what I would do if I lived in Chicago, oh wait I have lived there for 3 months and froze my butt off or if I lived any where east of Chicago. But it would give me a reason to wear the winter clothes that I never wear here in SoCal.

Just a comment from the East (Massachusetts)
Ordinarily we would have had 21" of snow so far in the year. The number this year is 71" (and a bit more tonight, snowing now in fact)
As of 5:00 PM today at least 149 buildings in Mass. have had roof and/or structural collapse due to the weight of the snow. No human fatalities but a friend at MEMA tells me there were several cows killed by a barn collapse.
My son, who lives in LA called me this past Sunday. I always love hearing from him but I don't know why he had to tell me he was lying on a beach with some friends.
By the way, I think the snow is also messing up the eastern coyote breeding season. I have seen several killed in the road and wonder if the snow is making it harder for the coyotes to find mates.
