9th GRADERS Course Request Cards are due TODAY in your IMPAC or HEALTH class. Be sure everything is completely filled out, with all signatures are in place, and turn in to your IMPAC or HEALTH teacher during class.
10th – 11th GRADERS Course Request Cards are DUE on WEDNESDAY during ADVISORY. Get your cards completed, including all signatures. Late returns decrease your chance to get the elective classes you want, so DON'T BE LATE!! 10th & 11th GRADER Course cards are due WEDNESDAY.
The FAFSA night that was canceled last week has been rescheduled for this Thursday, February 10th in the library at Volcano Vista High School. Stop by any time between 5:30 and 7:30 PM to get help filling out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid. If you are unable to attend this Thursday please check the website for more FAFSA events.
Buy a Valentine for a friend or your sweetie! NHS will be selling valentine's in A, E/F, and H Halls Tuesday through Friday this week for a $1. You must know your Valentine's 7th period class and we will deliver it on Monday February 14th for you.
"The ASVAB canceled last week is now scheduled for next Tuesday, 15 February from 730 until noon in the lecture hall. Those who were scheduled for last week's test do not need to sign up again. Your Hawk absences will be processed. Any questions see Major Campbell in B154."
Winterball has been rescheduled for Friday, February 25th. Please hold on to your tickets if you have already purchased them. Tickets will go back on sale for $20.00 on the 22nd. Tickets will remain at $20 for the entire week. You must have your ID with you at the dance.
Attention faculty, staff and students, due to the cancellations last week, the next SOAR Card drawing will be next week, Monday, February 14. Staff - make sure to catch our students doing something good and reward them with a SOAR card and students make sure to turn them in to any academy office of the library.

NHS Members: We are still scheduled to meet today for our officer elections. See you during lunch in Room A107.
The Volcano Vista girl's tennis team will hold varsity tryouts starting today (Monday) after school at Sierra Vista. Tryouts will be held Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5 this week and next. All players must have a current physical form to participate.
ATHLETICS:
Attention all boys interested in playing soccer next year, an information meeting will be today, Monday, February 7 during lunch in room A109.
TUESDAY is a BLACK OUT DAY- EVERYONE WEAR BLACK:
- Boys Basketball plays at Cibola on Tuesday night at 7- lets see if we can black-out their gym
- Girls Basketball plays Cibola Tuesday night, here in the Ring of Fire: Everyone wear black.
- Also on Wednesday night we will have a wrestling match at Cibola.
