The NWS Space Weather Prediction Center continues to monitor the coronal mass ejection from the sun that is expected to impact Earth's magnetic field. At this point, it is expected to make a glancing blow, but the exact timing of the impact is uncertain. Expect minor (G1) level geomagnetic storm conditions from 8:00 a.m. EDT tomorrow, June 9 through Friday, June 10. The possibility remains for heightened radiation storm levels with the passage of the coronal mass ejection shock, but only moderate (G2) level impacts are expected.
