And we might also be wise to agree to quit this thread. It started as a
not-all-CA-interest and not-a-disaster. As we've had hardly any activity (we
don't mind, really) and certainly no disasters (again, we're fine with
that), the owner and mods have been very lax about what subjects are
appropriate here. However, we're coming into fire season (officially, we're
in it), and I expect we'll be reminding you all of the rules soon.

Note that this is not a criticism of anyone, just seems an opportune time to
make this reminder.
