This is a brush area, and the occupancies are generally remote as well.
While FD access to incidents in the area would not usually depend on the
405, it would depend on the surface streets which will be heavily impacted
by the 405 closure. (And don't forget that essentially, the 405 and
Sepulveda Blvd are the only routes through the Pass, so this is not an
ideal-access area in the best of times.

Kudos to LAFD for their customary good planning.
