[Geology2] Naval activity in el Hierrio web cam

I came in to read my email and noticed the web cam for El Hierrio displayed a large stain from a point where I could see eruptive steam all the way to the near shore side of the view. Then I noticed a naval vessel cutting the waves like our coast guard does when they are in a hurry coming from the left of view.

See fo your self. They went right to the spot where the activity was taking place and circled around it and over it.

Anyway I found this interesting. The ship sometime develops a serious wake as the captain pours it in to zoom to where the activity is breaking the surface.

I have seen this this ship before tied up at the local harbor in previous web views and presumably as a strong light at night over the volcano.

It looks to be about the size of our USCG cutters.

If you look and he is not there sometimes he moves off screen to the right for a minute or two but as soon as more eruptive activity breaks the surface he comes blasting back. Right now he is gone again to the right, probably taking water samples. I have been watching the ship for forty five minutes.
