[Geology2] Post Glacial Rebound in The Great Lakes Area

The Great Lakes area experienced a cataclysmic break in the Earth's crust causing a bowl shaped depression on the surface of the Earth. Subsequent glaciers bulldozed debris into the bowl, filling it level with surrounding land. But oil produced over subsequent ages within the bowl drained to the lowest point of the depression.
