07/08	1600	Kecks CA-KRN-021213, Kecks Rd north of Hwy 46, Lost Hills 250 acres, 0% contained SRA Moderate Rate of Spread, 60KV Power lines in the area, reported lines down No structures threatened
07/08	0800	Prolonged period of very warm temperatures across interior southwest California through much of next week. Hwy 395 open in both directions.  Increased acreage based on ground GPS mapping.

07/06	1700	Light IA as cooler temperatures prevailed, however a slow warming and drying trend will occur over the region through this weekend.
07/06	0800	In Memoriam - On July 6, 1994, 14 firefighters perished on the South Canyon Fire near Glenwood Springs, CO. The lightning-caused fire had been smoldering in frost-stressed gambel oak for several days when it came into alignment during the afternoon with a cold front-induced wind. The fire ran up a southwest slope and drainage, entrapping hotshots, smokejumpers, and helitack personnel.
