In this modern era we don't want our kids to ever risk anything and thus learn anything because we often learn from risk and from failure... studies have shown that kids in the U.S. don't fracture bones as often as they used to because they don't climb trees and stuff anymore but stay indoors more and play computer games... is this sedentary lifestyles really safer and healthier? What is being lost by over-protecting our kids? What are they learning?
