[californiadisasters] South Ops News & Notes Update (9/09/12-8AM)

09/09	0800	Williams Fire, CA-ANF-004803 4,192 acres with fire 83 percent contained. Last operational period there was only smoldering with no visible flame. Evacuations of the San Gabriel Canyon are still in effect. Highway 39 remains closed but campers were allowed to return yesterday, with sheriff escort, to retrieve their property left behind when they were evacuated. Firefighters continue to improve and mop-up. Cooler temps and wind are expected today. All Divisions will stand by until weather is evaluated and determined safe.
