Our next SOAR drawing will be next Tuesday, September 11. Please make sure to turn your SOAR cards in to academy offices. Staff – make sure to find something positive you can acknowledge our students with and give them a SOAR card. Also, the SOAR store will open Friday, September 14 at lunch in H hall. You can trade SOAR cards in for a variety of items.
Any freshman interested in being in Senate or being an officer for the class of 2016 stop by the activities office today and sign up. There will be a mandatory meeting of all candidates on Monday, Sept 10 in the activities office at lunch.
Talent for Homecoming Coronation and Master of Ceremony sign-ups begin in the Activities office today at lunch.
Sign-ups for Powderpuff Football are today during lunch in the activities office. Your permission slip is due by the end of the week to the activities office. You must be a senior or a junior with at least a 2.0 GPA.
Underclassmen pictures will be taken today. Faculty and staff please remember to get yourpictures taken. Camera's are located on the first floor of F-Hall towards the back of the building.
The Gay, Straight Alliance will meet in Mr. Wellman's room (F104) on Monday during lunch. This will be the first meeting of the year so swing by to learn more.
ATHLETICS:
- Girls soccer plays LA CUEVA Friday at the soccer complex for the Metro Tournament Championship at 6:45 PM.
- Boys soccer plays ELDORADO Friday at the soccer complex for the Metro Tournament Championship at 7:15 PM.
- Congratulations to both teams for making the finals in the Metro Tournament
