National Honor Society: Our meeting will be held on Monday, Sept 10 during lunch. Juniors meet in Mrs. Jones' room and Seniors meet in Ms. Torres' room. Continue to keep up with the meeting schedule by checking your student agenda.
Attention student and staff – our next SOAR drawing will be next Tuesday, September 11. Please make sure to turn your SOAR cards in to academy offices. Staff – make sure to find something positive you can acknowledge our students with and give them a SOAR card.
Also, the SOAR store will open Friday, September 14 at lunch in H hall. You can trade SOARcards in for a variety of items.
Any freshman interested in being in Senate or being an officer for the class of 2016 stop by the activities office today and sign up. There will be a mandatory meeting of all candidates on Monday, Sept 10 in the activities office at lunch.
Today is the last day to sign up for MC or Talent for the Homecoming Coronation. Sign-ups are in the activities office.
All permission slips are due for Powderpuff today in the activities office.
The Gay, Straight Alliance will meet in Mr. Wellman's room (F104) on Monday during lunch. This will be the first meeting of the year so swing by to learn more.
ATHLETICS:
- Ross Country has a meet Saturday at 9am at Sue Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho.
- Girls soccer plays LA CUEVA Friday at the soccer complex at 6:45
- Boys soccer plays Eldorado Friday at the soccer complex at 7:15
- Congratulations to both teams for making the finals in the Metro Tournament
