Notes:		On this date and about this time in 1943 nearly a hundred men became trapped fighting a Santa Ana Wind-driven fire started by tracer rounds from machine gun practice by U.S. Marines. Over 70 people were injured and 11 U.S. Marines fighting the fire were killed.
