A discussion and consensus of the Wildland Fire Agencies of Southern California

determined that effective immediately the GACC preparedness level is being reduced to (PL2)

Initial attack capability is high in most areas and competition for resources between geographical areas is non-existent.  Moderating conditions exist in most geographical areas with lower temperatures and higher relative humidity. Large fire activity has been reducing daily with most incidents being contained in extended attack.

Cooler weather with breezy conditions in the deserts is expected today. 

Tonight, local north winds of 25-40 mph along with RH in the 20-25% range

will develop in Santa Barbara County and the I-5 Corridor.
