[californiadisasters] Admin Read: Trim Your Trimmage & Keep It Weighty

Achtung Gruppe!

Please trim your trimmage! In other words, please delete excess lineage on your email postings that are not specifically your own comment and the previous comment to which you are responding. It messes things up for our members receiving messages via their cell phones as well as those on Daily Digest for the group messages coming into their email accounts and it even makes for messy reading on the group website or from simple good old-fashioned reading of email from one's laptop or desktop computer.

Also, I don't wish to discourage participation and posting so I'm loathe to say this but please don't post every single development of an ongoing incident but try to make your punches count and place multiple significant developments on a single posting unless one is so important that it can't wait to be added with others on your email posting.

Thanks to all who participated yesterday and please keep it up per our guidelines!
