About a mile from my house even! I woke up to the sound of helicopters on station and no newspaper in the driveway when there should have been one! In a less selfish tone, I am glad none of the civilians were injured more than they were. Could have been much worse as I know several people living in that neighborhood. One missed being at both shoot scenes by about 5 minutes!

Let's not forget the 3 civilians who have been shot so far, for being in the wrong type of truck.  All the LAPD has had to say about that was "it was a tragic mistake."  so the count is Bad guy 2 LAPD 3.  Not a score to make one feel comfortable about having the police around.
