They should assume he has a scanner and be communicating on channels he is not likely to know or on scrambled frequencies. Better yet, if it's legal, they should be giving misleading details on th unscrambled main channels in the hopes he is monitoring and gets deceived in a costly (to him) way.

KCAL9 is now reporting officers have confirmed the truck burning on a Big Bear access road IS the one of Dorner.     So, all eyes and offficials swooping in the entire Big Bear area for the search.     I'd say anyone in this group who lives in the area to be vigilant.
