While I was at work today a very explosive wildfire broke out in the middle of nowhere in Riverside Co. but is "moving out" and only God knows where it will eventually go.
At present it has burned over a 1000 acres with effectively no containment yet achieved.
There are many structures threatened but none reported lost yet to which I am aware.
Many humans and their animals have been evacuated already with more to follow.
This is now a project fire as the initial and extended attacks failed to corral this thing.

NOTE: the webcams show this thing really rocking and rolling even after dark!
