RE: [californiadisasters] Bright Lights In Sky Likely Meteors, NWS says

I saw this one last night to my sse… from inside my house.  Was sitting near a window and a flash caught my eye.  Wasn’t sure what it was, but considered it could be a fireball as it was just “above” the mountain and, after walking outside, could not see any planes flying in that area. Nice to have the confirmation.
