And you ARE a very good friend, Rick. I will call you in a few days. Promise. The next two days around here will be crazy. Have floor people coming and dog surgery. But today was a very good day. The weather was perfect, the leaves were falling, the sun shone like a gem... what was missing was the California lower desert.

Huh, Rick... the only calls I've been getting lately are someone calling me from an 866 number. The call comes in, and then it hangs up on me. I quit answering it If that's you, then dude, I'm like perplexed.
