The Aug. 24 Napa Earthquake wasn't the Big One, but it was one for the record books.

It was the strongest Bay Area earthquake in nearly 25 years — it knocked out power and caused significant damage in Vallejo and the Napa wine-growing region.

Then, two aftershocks rumbled through the Napa-Vallejo area Aug. 26 as cleanup and assessments continued in the earthquake-damaged regions. A 3.9 magnitude tremor shook the area at 5:33 a.m., followed by a 2.7 aftershock two minutes later.

But how does this week's earthquake rank among the other big temblors that have struck the region?
