World History Event: 74 years ago today Pear Habor in Hawaii was attacked by the Japanese. At 7:55 a.m. Hawaii time, a Japanese dive bomber bearing the red symbol of the Rising Sun of Japan on its wings appears out of the clouds above the island of Oahu. A swarm of 360 Japanese warplanes followed, descending on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor in a ferocious assault. The surprise attack struck a critical blow against the U.S. Pacific fleet and drew the United States irrevocably into World War II.
Tomorrow is UGLY SWEATER DAY. Be sure to pull your grandma's sweater out so you can look your ugliest tomorrow.
Tuesday will be an exempt day for food sales before school and during lunch.

At lunch in DECA and the Lava Pit we will have Dion's Pizza and Popeyes (the real one).
DECA:Are you an animal lover? Well of course you are! Who isn't!? Paws For a Cause is a DECA project taking donations to benefit Lucky Paws Animal Shelter in (drum roll) THE LIBRARY!!! You can donate blankets, toys, food or treats to animals in need this holiday. Donations are taken Monday through Friday, December 7-11! Enter your name with your donation to win a gift card to Target! Take your donations to the library.

ATHLETICS:
CONGRATULATIONS to our cheerleaders for placing first in the CoEd division at the UCA competition this past weekend. We will be hosting the APS Metro Dance and Cheer Championship this weekend in the Ring of Fire.
GIRLS BASKETBALL plays at St. Pius tomorrow night at 7pm and on Wednesday they play La Cueva in the Ring of Fire at 7
BOYS BASKETBALL plays Eldorado tomorrow night in the Ring of Fire at 7pm
SWIMMING has a meet at the Academy on Wednesday at 4:15
WRESTLING has a match at Manzano on Wednesday beginning at 5:30.
