PROM is April 16 at the Sid Cutter Pavilion at Balloon Fiesta Park. TICKETS WILL BE $25 on Thursday, April 14. Be sure to have your current VVHS ID with you when you purchase a ticket. Tickets will be sold to juniors and seniors only. If you are bringing a guest be sure to have the guest permission slip with you when you purchase the ticket.
NHS: If you had applied to be NHS but have not received a letter accepting you into NHS yet, please see Mr. Greaves in E-211 ASAP.
SPRING ART SHOW The Fine Arts Department will host the Spring Art Show this Friday (April 15) from 6 - 9 PM in the Black Box. The show will feature artwork from many of our Ceramics, Painting & Drawing, Computer Graphics, Photography, and Art I students. We will have the Black Box open during lunch Monday - Wednesday next week (April 18 - 20) as well. Please come by and check out the work of our talented art students.
This Friday is the Day if Silence! The Day of Silence is a day where you stay silent to remember the voices that have been silenced by anti-LGBT bullying. The GSA will be having signups outside of A120 today at lunch and tomorrow & Friday before school. We will also be holding an informative brown bag lunch on this subject for faculty and staff during lunch tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th in Room A120. Show your support and sign-up!
COUNSELING:
APS Summer School enrollment begins Monday April 4th, 2016 at all APS High Schools. APS Summer High School Learning Program is primarily for students who are seeking credit recovery. APS Summer School sites are Atrisco Heritage High School, Del Norte High School, ECademy, Eldorado High School and Highland High School. To enroll, please contact your Volcano Vista High School counselor for more information.
ATHLETICS:
TALONS: Tryouts for the 2016-2017 Talons dance team begin next Monday April 18th thru Wednesday April 20th. Current APS physical is required. Go to www.vvhs.aps.edu/dance for more information. Contact Coach Blair with any questions.
