The Hollywood Hills by Mt Lee is one such area. There are times when i have to go up to Mt Lee (big microwave repeater site behind the Hollywood sign, for my job. Driving through the residential areas on the way up can be a challenge even on a good day. Add a trash hauler on its appointed day and it becomes impassible to get up there! Last time i had to go up there, i was following 3 vehicles with tourists despite several signs along the way stating that there was no parking at the top (of the residential road). I got ugly stares from them as my City escort allowed me through the gates to the mountain top.73,kevinkc6pobOn Thu, Oct 24, 2019 at 1:53 PM Kim Noyes <kimnoyes@gmail.com> wrote:
Red Flag Parking Restrictions 10/23/2019
#RedFlagParkingRestrictions; 5:00PM; #LosAngeles; Due to the forecast for extreme weather conditions, the Red Flag Parking Restriction Program will be activated TOMORROW October 24, 2019, at 8:00AM. In an attempt to increase public safety, the Los Angeles Fire and Transportation Departments created the program to remove illegally parked vehicles in posted locations within the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones (VHFHSZ) The parking restrictions are planned for at least 24 hours and will be reevaluated based on the weather conditions. For areas in the VHFHSZ, please look for the "Red Flag Days" no parking signs and ensure you do not violate the restriction; -Nicholas Prange
