10/19/2010 | 0603 | Initial Attack Activity was light in the GACC yesterday with 10 fires for 3 acres reported in the Daily Situation Report, (there may be a 24-hour delay in reporting on the SIT report). Low pressure off the Central CA coast will drift southward over the next few days. High pressure is building over the North Ops region. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and warm with light winds area-wide. On Thursday the next Pacific low pressure system will push cool humid air into coastal areas, along with scattered clouds and increasing S-SW winds. This system will spread inland Friday with rain possible in most of the North Ops region Friday through Sunday. |
