[californiadisasters] Will CA fall into the Ocean

Thanks for the laugh.... for those who were too young or not born yet.... I beleive it was Feb of 1966 that the "big one" was to hit and people were predicting that everything to the west of the San Andres Fault would slid into the ocean.  To the east of the fault towards Bakersfield there were large billboards advertising "Beach Front Property For Sale." 

 

I took a natural disaster class in college with the professor reporting that the way the plates were shifting, eventually LA and San Fran will be side by side.  What a picture.
