Re: [californiadisasters] Tragedy in Texas



The relevance of this to California Disasters is that such a disaster on that scale could conceivably occur here in California despite better safeguards now than then due to there being greater population density and coverage now than then. Just last year we had the San Bruno gas main disaster which killed several people and about a decade and a half ago we had a major gas main explosion following a train derailment a week earlier out in the Inland Empire which killed a few people as I recall.
