Momyer Fire, CA-BDF-7664; 150 acres, 40% contained. The fire is burning in bug killed timber and strong winds are hampering air operations.  The terrain makes it very difficult to get to the fire.  All San Gorgonio Wilderness trails are closed.

A small fire burned between 3 and 6 acres grass and light flashy fuels

Thursday evening in La Habra Heights. The fire was reported at 7:17 p.m.

on Leucadia Road. No structures damaged.

all contained. Predicated weather Hot & Dry with getting into the 90s

and minimum humidity will be mainly in the single digits and teens.

CAL FIRE Agency Rep (AREP), AREP Trainee, and Finance Section Chief

should arrive on the Island around 0630 Tuesday.

Bitterwater Road and Bitterwater Valley Rd near the Kern & San Luis Obispo

County Line 12 miles SE of Shandon SRA Start Time: 1301 hours Fire burned

187 + acres in tall grass and is 100% contained.

Governor Brown Issues Proclamation Declaring "Wildfire Awareness Week"

SACRAMENTO - Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. today issued a proclamation

declaring May 1-7, 2011, as "Wildfire Awareness Week" in the State of California.
