Main hazards in England and the UK is swell and shrinkage which causes structural damage in buildings. If we get a couple of dry summers followed by dry winters then we get shrinkage and a few wet seasons and minerals in the crust swell and we still get structural damage. But I suppose nothing in comparison to the rest of the world. Hey we do get quakes. Normally the isolated few are a massive "2.2" . I understand that a church suffered badly in Essex late 19th century with a "4 point something"
