[Volcano_Vista_HS] Boys Baseball & Girls Softball BOTH in State Championship Games

Your Volcano Vista Baseball team walloped Cleveland today 8-0 and will face La Cueva for the state championship Saturday, May 14th at 6:30 PM. The game will be played at Isotopes Stadium ($8 adults; $5 children...cash only).

The Volcano Vista Softball team also beat Cleveland today, 11-0. They then took on defending state champs, Carlsbad, and beat them 2-1. Due to double elimination rules, Carlsbad worked their way through a losers' bracket and will face the Lady Hawks in the championship game. The game will take place at the UNM Softball Field Saturday, May 14th at 11 AM. If the Hawks lose, they will play a 2nd game against Carlsbad at UNM at 3:30 PM. Tickets at UNM are $5 each.

We are so proud of our student athletes and wish them well in their championship games. Please try to go out and support them if you are able!
