Your posts were delayed in posting because you were on moderation as you had never posted here before and all new members are automatically on moderation upon joining and are taken off only if we know who they are or after they have posted something that indicates to us they are not spammers or worse. This sort of policy is maintained by all well-managed Yahoo Groups and to fail to do so is unwise. You are now off moderation so your posts will post as soon as Yahoo allows them to which is immediate in most cases. Another explanation for the extended use of the BREAKING NEWS label for this fire is the unabashed abuse of that expression as well as LATE BREAKING NEWS by local and regional TV news outlets in an effort to over-dramatize news as effectively as possible using those expressions for just about anything (including minor accidents on busy freeways and garden variety structure fires) for just about any period of time in the first day of the event rendering such expressions meaningless.

This was breaking news this morning when I tried to get some info from the main local "news", ABC, NBC and CBS, none of which had any clue about this fire. Then at 10:30 I sent this news group a message to find some info and got no response. Now three hours later you call it breaking news? People in this area have horses and other large animals and need as much advance notice as possible.
