RE: [Geology2] Scientists face jail over Italian earthquake



It’s a great example of a frivolous lawsuit here in the US.  The scientist comment was taken out of context, the family suffers a loss, SOMEONE has to pay so there can be a sense of ‘justice’ but the fact is simpler, sometimes shtuff happens and nobody ‘wins’.  Embarrassing, pathetic and even stupid case to try.  It’d be interesting to hear the court ‘desire’ to try this.  In CA, such lawsuits have been limited, at long last.  (In fact, you can be punished should you try to push such a case.)
