The "Great California ShakeOut" a statewide earthquake preparedness exercise
will commence at 10:20AM PDT. As a result of this drill, public safety
agencies may broadcast simulated emergency messages and conduct realistic
appearing rescue demonstrations. The Los Angeles Fire Department encourages
California residents to actively participate in "The Great California
