11/07	0830	The NEWS AND NOTES web page is back up although there has been some data loss from the past 10 days.  Over the weekend, the GACC received widespread precipitation, including snow in the mountain areas.  Ski areas in Southern California have even opened early, due to the large amounts of snow received.
