In order to fix anything, you have to find out where it is broken.
I’m not surprised that it failed. It was the FIRST ever such test. After all, wasn’t the point of the test to see where improvements or repairs are needed? For that, it was a success.
What is amusing to me is that in this day of tweets, cell phones, and 99 other kinds of interaction, the test involves only licensed broadcast stations. That is SO last century. ;-)

I didn't know it was happening and I rarely have the TV or radio on, so I missed it. That said, is the government preparing for some sort of event where they can call for marshal law or something? I'm not a big conspiracy theorist, but this does sound rather timely given World events and the Global economy.

The test failed in many areas and it came late and the voice message could not be heard given how low the volume and and fuzzy the signal... I am not the only one to experience this either....
