No copters for me.  If the fan quits, the glide angle is the same as a rock.  Autorotation is a barely controlled crash.  Nope!

I'll fly fixed wing any day and am licensed to do that. 

Copters are amazing things that do critical work.  But even during rescue ops, I was only "the dope on a rope" once because the hill was too bloody steep to climb and I was tired.

Tourons??? Very ..evocative. lol..gotta say though, that if I did have an opportunity to view a glacier or volocano  from a helicopter I would take it. Never been in a helicopter and I love flying. Allison
