SENIORS: Sign ups for Homecoming Court begins today during lunch. Stop by the Activities Office and pick up an application. All forms are due at the MANDATORY meeting on Friday at 11:20 in the lecture hall. We will be taking pictures of you for the ballot (so look pretty). Seniors will vote during the advisory on September 18.
Attention Class of 2014: We will have a class meeting Tuesday during lunch in Mrs. Wells room.
Attention all Juniors: There will be a class meeting Wednesday, during lunch in Mrs. Martin's room.
Attention all Sophomores: There will be a class meeting Wednesday during lunch in Mr. Brown's room, F111.
All students are welcome to attend class meetings.
There will be a French National Honor Society meeting on Tuesday, September 10 at lunch in Mrs. Taylor's room. All members need to attend.
Successful and highly regarded both in New Mexico and nationally, the Mock Trial team seeks to reload with young men and women who love to compete and are willing to work to compete successfully. Our 2013-2014 organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:15 PM in Mr. Goodfellow's room, F110. Potential champions and their parents should plan on attending. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Our lunch clean-up assignment is this week. Be sure you report for your assigned day to the A Hall Office no later than 11:20 to sign-in and get started. If you have questions about your assigned day for clean-up, speak to one of the officers or Mrs. Jones. Our next meeting is Monday, Sept 16 in Ms Green's room. Be working on your T Shirt design for our contest!
Mu Alpha Theta, Math NHS current members will meet today in Ms. Conell's room, F103. We will be reviewing our recruiting status, cord requirements for seniors, letter requirements, and fund raising. All current members should plan on attending.
Attention eCademy students – mandatory after school lab attendance begins this week. Attend your assigned lab day in F213 or F216 at 2:40 p.m. This is an assigned class time; do not be late. These labs are open for any eCademy student to work Monday – Thursday, 2:40 – 3:50.
ATHLETICS:
- There is a mandatory Golf Team Meeting at lunch on Tuesday for all current Golf Team Members and
those students who plan to tryout for the team this fall. The meeting will be held in Coach Cota's room in A-204. - There will be a softball meeting on Tuesday, September 10th at 6:30 pm @ VVHS. The meeting will be held at the seating area by the gym. We would like to let parents know about the softball program and also fundraising that is available to help pay for the girls player fees.
- Boys Soccer plays Eldorado at 3:30 here at Volcano on Tuesday afternoon. It's free! So everyone come out and support our amazing soccer team. Go Hawks!
