| A 6.4-magnitude quake earthquake shook the southern pacific coast of Mexico in southern Guerrero state had an epicenter about 9 miles north of Tecpan de Galeana, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, and was felt about 171 miles away in Mexico City. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said initial indications find no tsunami threat to Hawaii. The USGS downgraded the magnitude of the quake from an initial 6.8 to 6.4 |
