Yearbooks are here. You may pick up your book during lunch today in the ROTC room. You must have your student ID to pick up your book. You may also purchase a book for $70.00 during lunch. We still have a few books left from 2013 and 2012 that you may purchase for $20.00.

National Honor Society will be holding a meeting on Monday May 12 in Ms. Green's room E214 all Junior and Sophomore members please attend.

Hey Hawks! The Lava Pit snack bar has some overstock with their chips, so our excess is your gain! COUNSELING:

Counselors will be available to register students for Summer School in the Academy offices beginning May 2, 2014 through May 23, 2014 during school hours. This year summer school is being offered at La Cueva HS, Rio Grande HS, eCademy and the Career Enrichment Center (CEC). This year's cost is $250 per ½ credit. ATHLETICS:

Volleyball open gym will be held Monday and Wednesday after school next week.
Baseball –- #5 Seed in State Tournament Play Friday at 4PM at VVHS and Saturday at 10AM vs. Onate.
Softball #3 Seed in State Tournament Play Friday at 4PM at VVHS vs. Valley.
B. Tennis - compete in State Tennis today and tomorrow.
G. Tennis – compete in State Tennis this week today thru Saturday. Congratulations to senior Donna Shockley, who advanced to today's second round of the state tennis tournament with a exciting three-set win last night at Jerry Cline Courts. Donna beat Taylor Jones from Hobbs, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. The Hawks will also play in the team competition Friday morning at 8 a.m.
Girls Track- District Track Meet Friday and Saturday at Cleveland High School
Golf - Boys and Girls Compete next Monday and Tuesday at State Golf in Socorro, NM.
