Scanner saying it's up to around 20 acres, but slowing in speed. They cancelled 2 incoming aircraft, keeping what is on the fire. 2-3 structures threatened. (via scanner 12:07pm)
personal observation: wider plume, but lighter color and more diffuse.

A three-acre grass fire was burning Thursday morning on the 1900 block of Longhorn Lane in Stallion Springs, according to the Kern County Fire Department. It started at about 10:42 a.m.
Capt. Nate Perkins said the grass fire was reported by a nearby resident and a wildland fire response was initiated by the fire department.
"It was moving in a moderate to rapid rate," Perkins said, and more than 40 firefighters are on scene. There are two engines, three patrols, two crews, one helicopter and one fixed wing aircraft assigned to the incident.
"Structures were threatened but there is no reported loss of property at this time," he said. The fire has been named the Longhorn incident by KCFD.
